Yes. Nothing will change. People just do not care.

Maybe it is, but we should not treat it as such. Challenging and trying to fix it is what grows our movement, gets us excited, and brings us together.

Sincerely,

Slutter McGee

Secession and states rights is the only way to fix the Federal Government.States don't have rights, only individuals do. States have powers.

YES! the problem is systemic, electing new leaders won't do crap, even if they're all ron pauls, because the banks own everything at this point, or china

Although the thought is unpleasant due to the ramifications, the answer is very likely, yes. It's ONLY possible to restore the proper balance of the branches of the federal government and between the states by a STRICT adherence to the letter of the law, i.e. the US Constitution. Can it be done? Possibly, but I'm not optimistic. Legal documents only work if enforced. However, as long as I can, I'll continue working in an attempt to restore our constitutional republic.

Yes. There's no hope for a state with jurisdiction over 300 million to remain small.

Thanks for dumb comment.

Yeah I think we all know states are not people, but never the less states rights means taking back powers not delegated to the Constitution. I guess you did not know this.

Rights and powers are NOT the same thing. It's a significant difference.

Not really, not really at all. Not when States Rights is just a phrase for decentralizing power. Been said many times by Judge Napolitano.

He must not be familiar with The Collins. You are correct though(ofcourse). Rights and powers are different, and you will get destroyed in a debate if you do not understand that.

Sheesh guys, it's saying that the individuals within the boundaries of each given state should decide for themselves.

Threads are always so much more meaningful when there is an actual sharing of beliefs, instead of gotchas. Don't you agree?

Threads are always so much more meaningful when there is an actual sharing of beliefs, instead of gotchas. Don't you agree? The fundamental understanding that rights are not the same thing as powers is not an insignificant distinction.
