About this talk

With streams and rivers drying up because of over-usage, Rob Harmon has implemented an ingenious market mechanism to bring back the water. Farmers and beer companies find their fates intertwined in the intriguing century-old tale of Prickly Pear Creek.

I was very pleased to see a market solution being presented at a TED conference.

I like Ted. But I hate it when I watch a video almost all the way through before they get to the socialism crap.

I see much growth for this type of business/organization in the future.

And consumer ostracism will encourage the stubborn companies to pay too.

Yeah no kidding, I've begun avoiding TED stuff just because of this. I'll watch this one later.

That was good!
It seems the market can solve any problem (obviously).
