Public opinion is turning sour across the board.
"Overall, 43% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president's performance. Fifty-seven percent (57%) disapprove."
43% is the same as Gov Walker's approval rating, per Rasmussen, by the way. There, I think it is more that Walker's priorities, via other spending, were what people didn't like, when he took a hard line with the unions, but maybe I'm projecting.
