Maybe I'm way out in left field, but is there anybody that frequents 4chan on RPF?

I don't know much about them, but they seem to be anti-authority. Remember how they shut down some websites during Assange's news cycle? I can see project anonymous doing some really cool, subversive stuff...

I visit 4chan daily. Behind the porn and gore, there are some decent debates on foreign and domestic policies.

I don't think many who are deep in the disorganization would admit it here. It's kind of like a cyber Fight Club.

Well, they sided with the greedy public unions in Wisconsin, that's hardly "anti-authority".

Anonymous can't be grouped together like that. Members of Anon choose to - or choose not to - take part in whichever projects are posted. They can argue against the project and persuade other non-members not to go through with the project, but with no true leadership, if a cell of Anon wants to do something against the will of the majority, there is no recourse.

There are no "members" of anon, anyone is virtually anonymous if they choose to withhold their identity as such is the case with 4chan. Those "members" of anon that support Wisconsin could be liberals from reddit for all we know, and the recent one that attacks the FED and the IMF could be Ron Paulites/Libertarians.

It's kind of like a cyber Fight Club.

Thing of the past, it's mainly inhabited by 13 year olds now. Thanks mainly due to gore, 4chan used to be a horrifying place and only those with the mental stability to handle the kind of shit posted had the balls to even lurk. I use to visit it a few times in the past but couldn't handle it.

Remember when "sup /b/" would change to RON PAUL? Moot definitely supports Ron Paul.
