Today 35 military recruits killed in latest bombing in Afghanistan. Few days ago Afghan President Karzai asked US to leave Afghanistan after NATO troops accidentally killed his cousin and other civilians in another botched raid.

If we were going to exist in by making things worse, what were all the American lives lost for in Afghanistan since Obama's good war escalated?

Then they'll just create a false flag attack. As Herman Goering said, "voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country."

No, they're quite busy engineering actual attacks.
There's another thread showing that 56% of Americans support a no-fly zone in Libya.
They don't need a war - all they need is to continue our totally unquestioned policy of being the world's policeman. Eventually we'll get shot at somewhere, and then it's game on, again.
Don't you dare doubt the fundamental premise that we need to police the world - everyone knows that that's how Hitler came to power. It had absolutely nothing to do with the locals abrogating their responsibility in the matter.

Probably the one that goes to Church regularly, interpolating polling data from few years ago.

Obama isn't a Republican and he is the reason we are still there. Every death is on his hands (not that he cares).

Perhaps they feel they can start pulling out of this unpopular war now that Libya's provided them a new excuse for endless conflict.

But America's Christian leaders are telling me that Sharia is evil, so why is it bad to kill people who follow evil Sharia?

The clock is against the foreigners. The resistance has all the time in the World...100 years? 1000 years? They dont care. They get 100 soldiers a month? Thats good. They get 1 soldier a month? Thats good too. They make the foreigners spend 1 billion a month? Thats good. They make them spend "just" 100 million a month? Thats good too.

Its really simple so its good that many are starting to get it.

They are not "Christian leaders" if you are referring to Ricky Santorum. Few years ago and for many Christians even today, Rick Santorum's religion is "evil". Ask Pastor Hagee.

Rick Santorum should be offered some love/therapy, that's usually a good way to fix abused children syndrom. His faith has been called "evil" by many Christians in America probably most of his life.

I'm seeing a pattern.

95% of the wars we're in are eventually opposed!

Dean Acheson and McGeorge Bundy were 2 of the major players behind the Vietnam war. In the 50īs they were up to their necks in communist causes...And thats just 2 small examples.

Poll: Nearly two-thirds of Americans say Afghan war not worth fighting

Unfortunately, this is probably the product of media propaganda more than any "enlightenment" on the part of the general public. Many neo-conservatives in the media turned against the Afghan war before the last Presidential election, and that shifted public opinion. Of course the propagandists just want to focus on Iran instead.

2/3s of Americans? That's pretty good numbers considering the 24/7 propaganda spewed by the government's 4th branch, Main Stream Corporate Media.

Emotions, propaganda, "fog of war" eventually clears and reality sets in.

Seeing as the wars have cost us billions and billions and produced nothing but more problems for us down the road....yeah I can see why people may finally be souring to the wars. They are endless, and accomplish nothing....they probably will create more animosity and problems down the road. Financially they are ruining us too.....it's time to end the wars...get out now!

Perpetual war is getting quite old...it never freakin stops....these morons always find another reason to start a war. My patience has long since gone away.

Obama's kill machine puppet masters have some making up to do due to a lull in strikes while CIA agent was in custody. Although won't be surprised if these military general condemning this strike are just as bought as any other CIA agent:

After strike, Pakistan cancels US-Afghan talks

Pakistan's powerful army chief has already criticized Thursday's missile attack on a house close to the Afghan border in a rare personal statement. Intelligence officials say around 36 people — most of them civilians — were killed.

The relationship was already fraught over the case of an American CIA contractor who shot and killed two Pakistanis but was freed on Wednesday, putting the weak government on the defensive against critics who accused it of selling out to the Americans.

The missile attack added to the heat on the government, which summoned U.S. Ambassador Cameron Munter to protest.
