I just signed up for a forum having absolutely NOTHING to do with politics. It is a bodybuilding forum (I'm not a bodybuilder). The reason I joined was because I am a runner (over 20 miles a week), plus other workouts, and I use supplements and am concerned about the lack of definitive or even useful information on the true nature of supplements, etc...
Anyway, I signed up for this forum and found this thread:
http://anabolicminds.com/forum/supplements/77652-ron-paul-supplements-2.html#post1059757

Apparently, Ron Paul was brought up because of his stance on the FDA, supplements, etc... and it appears that these folks are not only talking about him but many support him. :D

I used to be a bodybuilder and had to retire just under a year ago- due to a Herniated disc on the L5 region of my back. Now, the gut is settling in. Thank God I live with my girlfriend now. :) Yes, I go to that site and read up on the new supplements out there a few times a week. But I also go to http://discountanabolics.com , http://bodybuilding.com , & http://bulknutrition.com . They all have forums. Spread the word if you like.

He's the only one sticking up for our rights. Orren Hatch and the gang shot down his amendment a couple of months ago that would allow "truth in labeling." If you think you're scared now, Google CODEX! That's another thing that "normal people" think is a conspiracy theory.

The FDA/supplement issue also plays well with many older Americans. My 79-year old mother-in-law was upset about CODEX and became a staunch Ron Paul supporter when she learned of his views on medical freedom. Strike up conversations with people you see in the vitamin aisles at the stores about the FDA's plans, then mention that's why you support Ron Paul. People love their pills. :-)

This reminds me of the joke:

How do you know someone supports Ron Paul?

They will tell you.

How about a 100+ post thread about Ron Paul on a car audio forum. Seen it.

Interestingly, a thread mentioning Ron Paul on a "get out of debt" forum I checked out only got 1 response about Ron Paul.

You're right. His message does pop up in pretty diverse places.

I don't get why guys want to be all bulky but whatever floats their boat lol I don't think steroids should be illegal, why does government always intervene in these matters? It should be solely a private function within organizations that prohibit its usage.

I am a member at BB com and there are a lot of Ron Paul signatures.

I also am an internet marketer and see a lot of Ron Paul sigs, threads, contests at internet marketing and webmaster forums. RP is everywhere ( I mean "on the internet" of course).
