I would say except for the shouting part, good for him.

But it is another catch 22. I don't think he should be shouting at people, but if he didn't he never would have gotten mentioned and his point is valid....
(I know someone will say, how do you know he was even shouting, maybe that is just what the writer wants you to think).
We'll maybe he wasn't shouting but he wasn't speaking directly to the reporter and she was able to catch what he said. We all know how passionate some of us can get, so I don't doubt that he got all excited and was speaking loudly.

We're trying to persuade people, though. Needs to be nicer.

that was ridiculous.

ron paul fans are mean russians and skin heads w/
metal studs and cellphones. "filthy trash," she thought
to herself, "makes me want to just climb into my volvo
and go home, throw a log on the fire."

edit:: p.s.

the primary difference between obamabots and us,

we say, "i'm mad as hell"

they say, "i wanna be sedated."

I was there and I know the Russian guy. I didn't witness the "shouting" incident, but he does have a tendency to speak loudly and from the heart.

She didn't associate the punk mohawk kid with Paul. Just the Russian.

She has the russian as a paul supporter saying:
"You Americans don't realize that big government leads to tyranny. I've been through socialism and communism, I know. That's where you're going, too. The government will take all your money."

So even though she has a bias against Paul, I don't think the article will hurt him.

My point was that the Catch 22 is that if the guy wasn't shouting he probably wouldn't have gotten that quote and Ron Pauls name in the article, but I don't think that Paul supporters should be shouting and being rude.

actually that was the one thing I did NOTICE when people get in a bit of an exchange they tend to raise their voice a bit too much :)

In orlando I noticed this and kinda tried to calm a bit and speak softer. it is not a bad thing really, just sometimes we let our emotions reign unchecked :)
And it was a two way thing in this case, the other guy too was raising to a yell at the same time, so it was mutual yelling, but not rude in your face style, just the emotional fire in the belly style.

People don't understand the difference sometimes in a rude yelling AT someone, and a passionate raise in the tone that some may do without even trying/intending.

I've hear a fantastic tip regarding going out and talking to people about Ron Paul - if they want to argue with you, or want to get in to some sort of debate, just politely say "thank you for your time, and I hope you'll consider voting for Dr. Paul" and walk away. RP supporters shouldn't be a roving debate team, and if someone already has enough preconceived notions about Ron Paul to argue with you, it's probably wasted time on both sides.

We've got to flip some Republicans on the war to pull off a nomination. Certainly don't be rude, of course.

oh sure you should definitely talk to the vast majority of people. I just mean you should walk away from those who start the conversation with shouting.
