Senator Timothy Cullen was visibly moved and called it his greatest experience as a public official. “We heard about how strongly they felt,” he said. “But you have to be here to feel it.”

Wow, everywhere else it says 10.s of thousands. Trust the NY times to make a union event 10 times bigger than it is.

Why not just raise the salaries of government workers to $500,000 a year?

While we're at it, lets raise the minimum wage to $200 an hour.

Let's get this this shit over with instead of dragging out the inevitable.

There you have it: one, albeit small, clearly identifiable section of the ignorant masses.

Unions are not ignorant, just greedy.

People bargaining with other people, neither with their own money, for personal gain.

Yes, I can see supporting this

When it comes down to it, it will be the parasites and the leeches of society who riot and rebel. Just like what was seen in Greece.

They live on the wealth violently stolen from others, and when you take that away they will react even more violently.

Sadly, we both know that wouldn't change anything.
