Wow, great video! Wonder if that was ground water coming up (as opposed to broken water pipes)? The cracks moving is really weird.

On second thought, we had a similar thing happen in the SF in a big grassy area (Crissy Field). Instead of just water, sand came up and left piles of sand everywhere. The ground liquefies.

Wow. That must be what it looked like when the great flood happened. The Bible says that "the fountains of the deep broke open".

My guess is the sprinkler system was compromised.

For a few moments, Brent thought the whole area of landfill was going to sink as the water appeared. Yeah, it must have been an unnerving experience.

Reports are that the whole mainland Japan moved 2.5 meters, to the north I think. I ran into an American yesterday morning on my way to the beach. He had just been there and said there was no damage. He said he was looking for a place to SCUBA dive.
All yesterday and eventhis morning, we have been in a tsunami "advisory". Don't know why, seeing as the big one only gave us a 20cm wave. But everyone's being careful.
