It's Rand's, of course.

Senator Rand Paul delivered the below speech on the floor of the Senate. It is beyond question the most important speech made from the Senate floor about the looming debt crisis. It should be viewed by every American.

Democrats and Republicans are nowhere near solving the crisis. Senator Paul in his speech makes that perfectly clear. It makes you wonder about a mainstream media that discusses the supposed epic battle between Democrats and Republicans over the budget. Watch this video clip and you will understand the false battle that will keep government spending growing, regardless of which side wins the budget "cut" battle.

Let us hope Senator Paul's message is heard throughout the country. People need to understand the dire situation that is before us. This is what they need to hear and not the happy talk of a bunch of politicians who are bought off by special interests.

reddited.

I don't understand reddit. Sometimes stories take off, sometimes they get ignored. This needs more votes. And look at this comment someone left:

we had a ballanced budget in 2000, since then our economy expanded by 40%, out population increased by 9.7%, SS since it started has produced 2.6 trillion in surpluses. what doesnt produce a surplus is a 1.5 trillion dollar war, or 2 trillion in taxes.

last recessions cause deficits, it is a fact, tax receipts go down as government services explode as people lose their jobs and go on UE and food stamps. a huge bit of our deficit will go away when the economy gets back into full swing.

our welfare spending did not get us here, bush's tax cuts for the rich, two wars and starve the beast got us here.

say what you want about the surplus it was the best government budget we had, we paid off most of the interest on our debt in 2000, which has never happened before and hasn't happened again. Bush decided a government that was about to start to pay off its debt needed less money.

this is also why massive programs like medicare plan D were forbidden to negotiate the best drug prices like the gov's VA already does. Bush and the GOP needed to bankrupt the fed to demand cuts to new deal programs.. otherwise it is suicidal. WEll lets show them it is still suicidal.

and rand paul is an ignorant little twit.
