And when was the first time we (USA) attacked an Arabian peninsula country?
I can't find the answer to these two questions online.
Seems like this would be vital information if your trying to argue for a non-interventionist foreign policy.

If you're looking for a "who threw the first punch?" answer, it was us. We struck a deal with OPEC for them to price oil in dollars in exchange for some sort of military protection. We built massive bases in Saudi Arabia. Needless to say, many people weren't too happy.

This ^^ Except, AFAIK, the Barbary pirates were not provoked by atrocious US foreign policy.

On our soil, it seems the 1970s was the era for the first Arabian terrorists:

Interestingly, Puerto Ricans are terrorists!

Not sure about the first time, this is related:
Kuwait used to be part of Iraq
Mechanisms of Western Domination: A Short History of Iraq and Kuwait (January 2003)
In the United States of America, it is almost beyond the bounds of acceptable discourse to address the question, why did Saddam Hussein invade Kuwait in 1990?
...
...The Iraq Petroleum Company was created in 1920 with 95% of the shares going to Britain, France, and the U.S. In order to weaken Arab nationalism, Britain blocked Iraqi access to the Persian Gulf by severing the territorial entity, "Kuwait" from the rest of Iraq in 1921 and 1922...
...The main purpose of this essay is to offer student peace activists, and others who might be unfamiliar with Middle Eastern history, a few key talking points and an historical context from which to support their efforts to block the drive toward war.

No, not that I know of.
It was all brought about by our refusal to pay "tribute" or baksheesh to the ruling Sultans in that part of the world, IIRC.

Very good point, and this was the reason why the USG's official response in the weeks leading up the Iraq invasion of Kuwait was that "we would not get involved in inter Arab affairs".

Then...
Our official response changed. :(

So this was the first suicide terrorism attack on US soil?
5 Sep 1959 Houston, TX 6 18 CRI
Paul Orgeron entered Poe Elementary School, Houston, Texas, and asked about enrolling his 7-year-old son but had no relevant documents, with which he promised to return. He returned to the school playground with his son a few minutes later, about 8:30 AM, carrying a briefcase containing about six sticks of dynamite, and gave a threatening note to a teacher. The teacher called for assistance from other staff and began moving students to safety. When Orgeron was confronted by the school principal and a custodian, he detonated the explosives, killing himself, his son, two other 7-year-old students, a teacher and the custodian. Those injured included 17 children ages 6 to 10 and the school principal.

I didn't see any mideast terrorism attack against us before we started supporting Israel, did anyone else find otherwise?
