Why should you do this?
The kind of people who would come out and view this Ayn Rand film are the exact people we need to reach out to for Ron Paul's 2012 run and to grow the Campaign for Liberty! Congregating these individuals in once place at one time for one event makes it easy to reach out to them. It also further spreads the ideas of limited government since many will bring their friends and family who may never have been previously exposed to these types of notions.

Why is it only playing in select towns?

It's called a tiered release. Napolean Dynamite was released this way as well as Blair Witch. They release it to a few theaters to see if it will be successful, and then the more success it has, the more theaters they will release it to.\

It blows my mind that they don't think that Atlas Shrugged will be huge! Lol but then again my world is pretty consumed with libertarian thought everyday be it here or all over facebook. Still though, this bums me out. I was thinking this would be a huge blockbuster that all my liberal friends would see and then they would instantly see the evils of gov't and change to Ron Paul fans..... :(

It's our job to make it huge. Get as many votes at the original link as possible to bring it to your town. Then once it's there, turn out as many people as you can to see it. If it does well they'll get a ton of money and begin to realize that this kind of messaging is profitable and will make more of it.

Word. I'm still bummed though, originally i heard names like brad pitt and angelina jolie were being considered for roles. Atlas shrugged is huge though. Makes me angry how many neocons have galt screen names on redstate while making fun of Ron for his support of gold standard, like WTF? Have they read the book.
