Piers Morgan, the new host of Piers Morgan Tonight on CNN, has been experimenting with his format and guest selections in order to try and establish ratings.

One tool he has been utilizing frequently is twitter.

KramerDSP had the good idea of using this medium to try and have Piers invite Dr. Ron Paul in studio for an in depth interview. I strongly feel this will give him the type of ratings boost he is looking for.

So, sign in at http://Twitter.com and simply send a tweet to @PiersMorgan, asking him to have Ron on his show!

Here's an example to start:

I forgot who he was - Larry King's replacement. Anyway, I suggested Ron Paul, G. Edward, Griffin, and Dr. Edwin Vieira as guests

No body watches cnn anymore.

I would be ecstatic about that if it wasn't for Fox's ratings being up

This is a great idea. Those of us old enough to remember Ross Perot's 1992 presidential campaign recall how his interview on Larry King live launched him from curiosity/quixotic candidate to front-runner. He was the subject of a fawning story on 60 Minutes around that time as well. He was initially polling around 8 percent, but when it became obvious that he was a serious candidate, that jumped to 30 percent.

I signed up and tweeted. I'm kinda pissed because i really never wanted to be a person who "tweeted". That said, this is a really great idea. The show is one on one the whole time. You can't buy that kind of advertising. Why is this thread not blowing up with people saying they tweeted? Not that all ten of us haven't blown piers and his staff away yet!
