Michael Shermer is a libertarian!?! Are there any other well-known Libertarian scientists?

I've always enjoyed watching Michael Shermer give lectures and have debates on subjects like religion, atheism and science, but I never heard him speak about economics or politics. I just stumbled upon the following video while browsing youtube, and it seems that Michael Shermer is a libertarian. He even uses the word "Statists" at the end, haha.

I'm quite pleased to learn this, and thought I'd share it for anyone else who didn't know this, but enjoys Shermers work.
