She's freaking out because so many people are getting their news from alternative sources online.

If not for the Internet, Ron Paul wouldn't have reached so many people thus far. Leaving comments on articles, making and uploading youtube videos, voting up stories on sites like reddit, discussing issues on facebook, etc are FAR more important and effective than people realize. Don't let up!

All of 'em. America had "Rosie the riveter", "loose lips sink ships" and some anti-jap stuff. And Japan and Germany and the USSR had lots of military propaganda....some of it quite beautiful, if horrifying.

Again, fantastic site! - head on over and check all the pics out. Some are dated, referring to bush era people and could use updating. Others betray that the artist is a liberal. Still, the number of things we agree on is overwhelming. Just ignore his occasional bit about union labor and global warming, etc.

I think he still sells shirts, bags, etc. and may have a book out. Not every image, but some of the more popular ones.

I think wars are made under the guise of religion, but not really religion itself.

Yeah, but if the religious excuse for war gets people behind it, then we could do without it...

They're frustrated that opposing forces and nations are able to use truth as propaganda towards the US citizenry to further their interests. I am frustrated by this as well, only in a completely different manner. Actually I'm flipping outraged. Outraged that Russia is able to use such a convincing platform for telling our people the truth in place of our own flipping media. Every time I see an RT propaganda piece that is simply saying it how it is ... I get incensed. I don't appreciate foreign governments blathering their opinions to our citizens. I'm eternally frustrated that their doing it by showing alternative, objective, and relatively factual opinion pieces. The same kind I imagine they are not using on their own people.

That is what our government has given us. Foreign propaganda engines that are doing the job our media should be doing using tools we should have earnest right to use on them. How much of the high ground have we lost on the moral battle?

*(#% corporatism, it has got to go.

Free speech to the highest bidder.

Well, when I was a kid your best bet at informing people was a mimeograph machine, which was hardly an improvement on Gutenberg's printing press. So, the internet really is changing everything for the better. Believe it. Sometimes progress seems skimpy until you turn and look back.
