I love Walter Williams.I'll actually tune in to the Limbaugh show when he is guest hosting.
It is sickening to me to see how much land the federal government owns in my country(Oregon)

yeah, but does that land really 'belong' to the government? i was under the impression that public land belongs to nobody and belongs to everyone. at some point, the US gov't just kind of took the land. they'd probably still make you pay property taxes too.

Even so, we still gain by having private ownership and management. It would be preferable to end the leviathan, but if you can remove one tentacle at a time, do it.

Seems like Walter is getting a lot of press lately. This guy is a genius and I only heard of him for the first time a few months ago... more people need to know about him and what he knows in terms of economics and especially education!!

He's been doing it for a long time (since the 1980's). He's one of the primary reasons that I considered George Mason for grad school....

That's what I I've been thinking. He seems like a perfect choice, honestly. The man really is a genius and he's very articulate and quite the educator when he speaks.

It seems like he would crush Biden in the debates. Ron against Obama and Walter Williams against Biden.
