TUESDAY UPDATE. SANTORUM AT TAXPAYERS RALLY. Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum is the first likely presidential candidate to confirm an appearance at "Taxpayer Tea Party Rally" on April 15 at the State House.

"He is the first to confirm," said Corey Lewandowski, state director of Americans for Prosperity, which is organizing the event along with Cornerstone Action, the Coalition of New Hampshire Taxpayers, the Upper Valley Tea Party, the Plymouth Area Tea Party Patriots and the New Hampshire Tea Party Coalition.

Sources say Santorum will also speak that day at the Seacoast Republican Women's Spring Luncheon at the Ashworth-By-The-Sea Hotel in Hampton Beach.

Prior to that visit, Santorum is scheduled to be in New Hampshire on March 11 for the Strafford County Republican Committee Lincoln-Reagan Dinner fund-raiser at the Three Chimneys Inn in Durham, on March 15 for a private breakfast with business leaders and a private lunch with pro-life advocates and on March 28 for the Grafton County Lincoln-Reagan Dinner fund-raiser at the Indian Head Resort in Lincoln.

Also, Tea Party leader and Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann's schedule for March 12 has been set with a brunch fund-raiser for the NHGOP at Courtyard by Marriott in Nashua. She will then greet Granite Staters with a walk in Nashua.

We've already reported that Bachmann will appear at another fund-raiser for the state GOP at the Seacoast home of Ellen Christo on March 11.

THURSDAY UPDATE: "BIGGEST NH TEA PARTY EVER." The State House plaza on April 15 will be the site of "the biggest Tea Party New Hampshire has ever seen," according to its organizers.

The third annual "Taxpayer Tea Party Rally" is being planned by Americans for Prosperity, Cornerstone Action, the Coalition of New Hampshire Taxpayers, the Upper Valley Tea Party and the Plymouth Area Tea Party Patriots, along with the New Hampshire Tea Party Coalition.

The honorary chairman is Tom Thomson of Orford, a long-time anti-tax activist.

Corey Lewandowski, state director of Americans for Prosperity, said, "With the presidential campaigns gearing up we are going to invite the candidates to the rally and look forward to hearing how they will advocate for lower taxes and less regulation."

i'm gonna see if we can get someone who knows Tommy Thomson (wtf?) to see if RP was invited
