What do you guys think the chances of this happening are? My friend says it's very likely, but I disagree with him and say that Tancredo, although he gets along with Paul, would probably endorse McCain or Romney and look to become VP.

What do you all think?

Not a misleading title AT ALL. Seriously. Not even a little bit misleading!

They are both good friends. No way Tancredo endorses anyone but Ron. The rest of them either support illegal immigration (Huck, McCain, Julyanie), or aren't tough one it at all.

I hate misleading titles.

Tancredo is the second best Republican, but I wouldn't get my hopes up about a Paul endorsement. That being said, it's a possibility. Aren't Tancredo and Paul friends?

I like Tancredo. Bombing Mecca isn't intervention, it's world annihilation. Very constitutional.

Word is that Tancredo will announce his campaign for Congress after the world series. So just before the infamous 11/5 money bomb.

Yes they are also members of the Republican Liberty Caucus. Additionally, the are both Calvinists, and that bond runs deeper than any other.

Dude, I will not trust you for a while for coming up with that title.

Source? Last I knew, Paul was a Baptist.

I don't know though. Tancredo's comments about bombing mecca seem more in line with something McCain would believe in, which makes me think he would be more than likely to endorse McCain.

But lets say Tancredo would endorse Paul if he dropped out.

now what are the chances Tancredo is going to drop out? Has there been any hint of it?

Nope. He has no money and since he's not interested in winning, he'll probably stay in until the 2012 election cycle.

I think he wants to get a cabinet position. If you really want him out just submit a question about him dodging the draft to the next debate...

No hint of it yet, except that he can't run for both president and Congressman in Colorado, so he will have to throw in the towel eventually. (Ron Paul can seek both offices in Texas.)

I'd just be glad for him to go. And Hunter too. (Incidentally, I've been a fan of RP for about 10 years, but if he had the level of support and money of Tancredo or Hunter, I'd say the same thing about him.)
