Thanks to everyone who made it down to the Capitol in Denver last Tuesday for the Tea Party counter-rally to an SEIU organized "Wisconsin Union Solidarity" rally.

Our spontaneous event was a great success. If you weren't able to make it, you can read all about it on the Northern Colorado Tea Party (http://www.northerncoloradoteaparty.com/blog/2011/02/23/tea-party-v-seiu-in-denver-madness/) blog by clicking here. It's worth the read, as this blog post includes links to lots of tremendous video clips and all media coverage.

On Saturday, MoveOn.org and the SEIU ran a 50 state effort hosting "Union Solidarity" rallies nationwide. A formal counter-rally was not organized, due to the rally on Tuesday, but a few Tea Partiers did make their presence known, including my good friend, Elliot Fladen. A YouTube video of Elliot taking on the entire MoveOn/SEIU rally has gone viral with over 15,000 hits in 48 hours. Please take a few minutes to watch this incredible video where Elliot literally becomes the speaker of their pro-Public Employee Union rally - and they may have been booing, but they were also listening to his rational argument. This local video made it all the way to BreitbartTV! I would also like to give huge kudos the State Troopers and Denver Police Department who took their job of defending Elliot's right to free speech seriously. They did a phenonmenal job!

Those union people just got owned. Keep spreadin' truth!

Imagine what the media would say if a tea party group acted like these union people.

That's the way to do it, just stand your ground, keep your cool and speak your mind.

Elliot was a downright hero, a driving force, hopefully he doesn't get too frustrated with their comebacks, that's what unions are built on these days, shit-talk.

wow, how many times do you hear people yelling "don't listen to him"? Not one person in the crowd even knew what they were angry about. Every day when i see these union protesters on tv i lose a little bit of hope for our country.

Its enlightening to realize they do listen to us. They all crowd up, and try to oppose Elliot and the rest of us... but what happens is that the libs must subconsciously think we really do have some answers.

They need a new leader, and are at least willing to listen while being hostile. Obama turned out to be a fraud for them, so the TP, even though despised, is the only legitimate opposition to šthe manš right now.

There's only one person of color within that group of protesters (the man with a camera).

Unions are obviously racist.

This article analyzes the history of labor union violence, and how Rep. Capuano's comments are a perfect continuation of this historical truth.

That dude was awesome. I wouldn't ever walk into the hornets nest myself without being armed, so I give him double kudos.

I'm surprised the cops didn't arrest him for "disturbing the peace."
