A Wisconsin Democrat offered up an apology Monday for comments he made on the Assembly floor last week immediately following a vote on Gov. Scott Walker’s contentious budget repair bill. Rep. Gordon Hintz apologized to Republican Rep. Michelle Litjens for shouting a threatening obscenity that a number of witnesses heard amid the loud uproar after the chamber’s GOP majority successfully passed the bill.

According to local WTMJ news radio, a number of witnesses heard Hintz shout (http://www.620wtmj.com/shows/charliesykes) “You’re f***ing dead!” at Litjens.

Litjens says she has accepted Hintz’s apology, but has asked the Assembly leadership to discipline him. “Everyone was exhausted. We were on the floor 58 hours. (But) there is still no excuse for his comment,” Litjens said (http://www.postcrescent.com/article/20110228/APC0101/303010023/Hintz-apologizes-comments-made-Assembly-floor?odyssey=tab|topnews|text|FRONTPAGE).

If it were me I would have been apologizing for my vote and asking her out on a date.

I wonder if this will dominate news commentators and political talk radio for the next 2 weeks like when Congresswoman Giffords was shot b/c of the supposedly vitriolic rhetoric of "the right"? Who am I kidding, I'm not wondering and already know it won't.

P.S. - good lookin' broad

Appleton police say a municipal citation they issued to state Rep. Gordon Hintz earlier this month is connected to a prostitution investigation involving an Appleton massage parlor.

The 37-year-old Oshkosh Democrat was arrested Feb. 10 and cited the next day under a city sexual misconduct ordinance. He is scheduled to appear April 27 in front of an Outagamie County court commissioner.

Me too. But it looks like "Flash" Gordon Hintz (D) is busy pursuing other interests.

“Just one week earlier, Hintz had been cited in connection to a
busted prostitution ring
and for violating a city sexual misconduct ordinance in Appleton.”

If it were me I would have been apologizing for my vote and asking her out on a date.

Well I don't care about a few prostitutes, should be legal anyways. But people can still judge him for engaging in it, and yelling You're bleeping Dead on is pretty ridiculous.

Agree it should be legal. It's just amusing when a "lawmaker" gets busted for it. Like The Hon. Jerry Springer.

What if he was with underage sex-trafficked girls in that brothel? That doesn't make it right.
