^ I think I saw that room on "life after people". Pretty cool that you all are getting a grassroots office. How are you funding it? I think we should be doing this in New Hampshire as well.

Go Grassroots!

Isn't that the crime scene they use in every episode of CSI: NY?

I pick June 7th. It it will give enough time to recover from the "Announcement moneybomb"

I say Tax Day. And congrats on the place!

There should be a money bomb the day of every debate for sure. Millions of people will hear Ron speak the truth and be inspired to donate at that moment.

It is privately owned space that will be used for more than just RP stuff...

For those advocating May 2nd as a debate day take to mind that the media reports moneybombs the day after, not the day of because most of the money has yet to be raised. Look at the recent libertyPAC one, it was mentioned several times the day after. It would give the media reason to mention his name more, "Ron Paul, who just had a money bomb yesterday raising one hundered million dollars ;) will be making this an interesting debate. "

Now if you have it may 2nd they may say his name but the total dollar amount will be significantly less.

Unless you promote it as the "MAY DAY-DEBATE DAY MONEY BOMB" A special two day event to help save this country. Now I could get behind that.

April 30th, June 5th. Get people to pay attention to the name in time for RP to speak to them.

I'm still pushing for April 30th. I believe enough forewarning will overcome the Saturday "handicap."

I don't think having the Money Bomb itself on Debate Day is a good idea; it needs to be held a day or two before. I do think people will still donate to Dr. Paul during and after the debates, but that's just icing on the cake. The big "we're already supporters" push via Money Bomb should already be in the bank by the time those people wake up and start dropping in their dollars.

Plus I still love the idea of "Honesty Day" :)

I vote for tax day. Stick it to the man. Very motivating and lots of media attention for the rest of the campaign ("Ron Paul, who set a fundraising record with $7 million on Tax Day, April 15th, is coming on to talk about phasing out the income tax.").

Or perhaps the story will read "Supporters throw Money Bomb on April 15th, forgetting that Tax Day is actually on April 18th this year."

Will Ron even announce before April 15th? And if so his announcement will be very close to that date. I think that makes the two moneybombs too close.

I'm in STRONG favor of April 15th, to protest tax day.

Is that true? Is it April 18th? I'm not even in the US... not for several years... so I wouldn't know. Regardless, whatever Tax Day IS, is the one I vote for.

I think a weekday shortly after payday is the way to go. Capitalizing on the debate could be helpful. Maybe May 3 or 4?

Tax Day has moved for 2011. It is on April 18th, which takes the punch out of a "Tax Day Money Bomb" altogether. If you hold it on April 15th, you really aren't protesting on Tax Day even though it's the date widely associated with income taxes being due. If you hold it on April 18th, people won't think of it as a Tax Day protest even though it's on Tax Day. It seems like a stupid mire to get stuck in.

I'm saddened more folks don't know this (as far as those who live in the US).

I like Honesty Day. Primarily because highlighting Honesty in our support of RP sends a great message. Tax Day will send a good message, too. But, between the confusion over the actual date and the time frame (when will he announce?), I think we would be better off moving it forward

I know the campaign's hands are tied at the moment, but it might be nice to get someone to express a preference of some sort off the record... maybe just their thoughts on the themes.

They can't just come out and tell us "oh yeah! April 15th!" because that would be as good as saying they'll announce before that, and that's a hand that can't be tipped yet. I wonder which theme Dr. Paul could most get into?

I like Patriot's Day because it will resonate well with the Republican base, although I wouldn't really mind Tax Day either.

Just a thought, before deciding shouldn't we consult with other RP activist sites like the DP? Or are we takin ova.

Honesty Day sounds kind of hippyish and could easily be portrayed by the media as a leftist.

Or better yet, how about a "hire a competent campaign staff with this money" money bomb. not to be overly brash.

I've downloaded software for polling outside of RPFs, still learning about it... Glad you mentioned it
