Nuclear war is a bad thing.

Right?

Scientists from NASA and a number of other institutions have recently been modeling the effects of a war involving a hundred Hiroshima-level bombs, or 0.03 percent of the world's current nuclear arsenal, according to National Geographic. The research suggests five million metric tons of black carbon would be swept up into the lowest portion of the atmosphere.

The result, according to NASA climate models, could actually be global cooling.

I think the specter of Nuclear Winter has always been known... Strange...

That has to be worth a lot of carbon credits, more than enough to pay for the device.

Global warming is the biggest fraud in human history

World people should burn/set fire all the waste plastic, waste rubber, waste paper which are lying around for many years and nobody is recycling them. Basically burn all the trash/garbage in the world and create some open and clean space. There is no such thing as global warming.

If there were no Global Warming - we would still be in an Ice Age. Humans didn't cause any of the previous thaws - guaranteed.

I agree, global warming is a natural occurance. As the living creatures on Earth increases/explodes, more water is released from ice regions due to warm Earth.

Global warming is a myth. Anyone remember the global cooling fad in the 70's? It's all about money. Politicians have found a scare tactic to inflate their own pockets.

Scientists were recently caught manipulating data since the 90's to create the illusion of global warming. I think George Carlin had it right.

It's insanity like this, being cooked up on a daily basis in government labs and think tanks all around the world, that is going to evetually result in the destruction of mankind, if we don't get a hold of it somehow and put these ideas in check.

Those fucking things are one of the worst things that ever happened to Man and this is a very rational thing im saying, its not a "hippie/peace-and-love/utopian" thing. This comes from inside knowledge about how things work. The nuclear-powered Hegelian-dialectic is the King of All the Dialectic Processes of Conflict Generation. Most people dont think about what this whole nuclear thing created. "Bastard to Mankind: The only way to avoid thermonuclear armageddon is to accept a One World Government".

Einstein and Oppenheimer were monsters who knew exactly what they were doing. BTW its now generally accepted that Oppenheimer was the highest security leak in the nuclear project. The bastards wanted the Russians to have nukes too (the dialectic process).

If world people do not burn fuel, wood and other substance the Earth will return back to Ice-age. Everyday millions of barrel of oil/petrol is burned, millions of Tons of coal is burned, millions of Tons of wood is burned, millions of Tons of cooking and industrial gas is burned. Think, if millions of Tons of these "fire products/substance" in not burned what would be the temperature/climate of Earth.

Everybody burn lots of fuel. Set fire to all the waste plastic, waste rubber, waste paper which are lying around for many years and nobody is recycling them. Basically burn all the trash/garbage in the world and create some open and clean space. There is no such thing as global warming.

There must be Volcanic activity under the glaciers and ice-deposit regions of the world because of which world ice is melting.

Heat from big cities cannot travel more than 20 miles or 30 miles. Forget big cities heat reaching Antartica, Siberia, Alaska and other ice-deposit regions of the world.

Global warming is the biggest fraud in human history. There is no such thing as global warming.

What the article fails to mention is that, typically, these "nuclear winter" scenarios don't occur because of the bombs themselves, but because of the burning of the cities during the initial blast and fires afterward.

Even then, however, the science isn't totally out on the exact effects of a large scale nuclear war; some seem to indicate it would truly be a nuclear winter; others indicate it would be a mild annoyance that wouldn't last long or have a dramatic impact on the climate.

Either way, the very fact this is getting any attention is a bit disturbing.

Oh, I disagree that you "can't make this up." Futurama beat them to the punch about a decade ago with an exchange to the effect of, Fry: "Good thing global warming didn't happen!" Leela: "Oh, it did, but nuclear winter canceled it out."

The Lawyers that edit the Scientists conclusions need a spanking, and then some...

Then we have the Gulf Oil incident, with mass fish die-offs, and I suppose they will tax us for that too, Fish Tax, to fix the problems created by the Gulf Oil Catastrophe. Maybe I should just keep my big mouth shut and not give them any more ideas...

Finally this will explain the main reason why world economy is in serious trouble today.

For past 50 to 100 years, world factories and manufacturing facilities have been working and producing products and goods for 24 hours a day and 365 days a year. Honestly speaking factories and manufacturing facilities should function/work for 12 hours a day only that is 9.00 a.m to 9.00 p.m. That is the reason the world resources and raw materials are in serious trouble and world prices are sky-high because everything has been consumed in a short span of time. Human beings are breeding like rats and they say rats are breeding like rats. To feed the massive hunger (food and products) of 7.5 billion to 8 billion people the world production works for 24 hours a day which further increases the population.

If the world factories would have been working for 12 hours a day only for past 50 to 100 years, then only 50% of world's resources would have been consumed today. The world economy would have easily survived for another 100 years without any problem. There would have been no financial crisis and multi-trillion bailouts for next 100 years and more. The human greed to develop very fast and competition has led to the downfall of world economy ultimately. Example, if there is 200 storey building, you will reach the top of the building by elevator/lift or staircase. If you use elevator you reach the top in 2 minutes and then you have to come down. If you use staircase, you reach the top in 2 hours and then you come down.

All the world factories should be shut down for 12 hours a day. There should be death silence so that everybody and animals can rest in peace and the Earth can cool down for 12 hours a day.

If I am correct worldwide steel factories, cement factories, Coal mining, Oil drilling work 24 hours a day? These are the essentials for fast development.

Finally this will explain the main reason why world economy is in serious trouble today.

Not to further derail this thread, but the world economy is rightfully in serious trouble today because it is not an honest system. Privileged people are given the authority to create money out of nothing while everybody else is thrown in jail or killed if they try it. Counterfeiting money pays big bucks and is a source of power to control other people. When central banking ends, then the masses can have peace and prosperity simply by embracing honest sound monetary policy. The problem is that the privileged elite will fight us tooth and nail to keep the power ... and they own the political system, military industrial complex, police, educational system, MSM, and the hearts and minds of most people through entitlement programs. It's a big chore to teach people the truth because, when we do, we are classed as kooks and conspiracy nuts.

So, carbon emissions went on for decades but we didn't get global warming because we were also creating conventional pollution, and the particulates were blocking the extra sunlight which was then not bouncing back off the greenhouse layer in greater profusion because it had already been blocked. Then we started mucking around controlling our conventional pollutant output, and revealed that we had been balancing one problem against the other. So, now that we have our particulate pollution down, how do we balance our carbon pollution?

Simple. Nothing puts particulates in the air like pounding the earth with nukes.

No wonder science tends to look like a problem in search of a solution. Maybe if they took less federal grants we could take them seriously again.

Some 7 billion tonnes of coal is produced worldwide per year which is equal to weight of 14,000 world trade center buildings (9/11).

Worldwide oil production for year 2010 was 30 billions of barrels.

USDA estimates for the marketing year of 2010-2011, 4.9 billion bushels of corn will be used for ethanol production.

Only 2 billion bushels of corn are being exported, and 5 billion being burned.

And burning ethanol is for what exactly? For each gallon of ethanol produced, one gallon of petroleum is consumed for distillation, transport, fertilizer, etc.

Search in google for "european sex videos" and similar words and you will understand why "human beings are breeding like rats". Everything comes to an end one day.

The Bible do not lie, is the word of God. This world should give rise to the kingdom of Christ, the “cleaning” is painful, but Jesus will restore everything. Who want to go with Him? Repent and join to Christ that you will have living with the eternal God, righteous and loving, the Lord of all the law of life, of love and peace, the true Light.

Swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, -they break out; and blood toucheth blood. For this shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowl of the heavens, yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away." (Hosea, 4:1-3)

Ash is rich with nutrients and helps in better growth of the forest. To provide ash to the forest, rotten and fallen woods and some good trees have to be burned. There cannot be ash without a fire and fire does not distinguish between anything and anybody.

Science itself IS THE GREATEST THREAT TO LIBERTY THIS WORLD HAS EVER KNOWN.

WAKE UP, SHEEP!!!!!!!!

Um... no. Science is naught but a tool, much like hammers and kitchen knives. To assert as you have is to let the real culprits off the hook: people. We are the most dangerous threat to liberty. We are the ONLY threat to it. Nothing else threatens it. Nothing else can protect it. Humanity is its own worst enemy.

Very few people want liberty - real freedom. What they call "freedom" I call slavery. Pretty slavery - the slavery of the gilt cage - the slavery accepted as freedom by the man too timid, too lazy, or too frightened to go for the real thing. The slavery accepted by the grasping poltroon who wants something for nothing - who feels that someone owes him this and that and is willing to sell his soul to have it, all the while fooling himself into believing it is just and proper, or perhaps that he is getting over. The slavery of the man too dishonest to acknowledge his own status as a thief, happy to have someone else do his stealing for him, most often in the name of phony baloney ideals with noble sounding names such as "social justice", "greater need" and "equality".

But there are those who want real freedom - a tiny cadre of mainly like-minded individuals who not only understand what it is to be truly free without turning one's back on civility and moral principle, but are willing to do what it takes to achieve it and keep it. How can such people survive the mindless and mundane juggernaut of rank, unvarnished mediocrity, of legitimized theft, force, and violence? What do they do? That is the $64 question for which certain answers seem to be few. At the bottom of it all, however, lies brute force. The ability and the willingness to destroy all comers who would violate our sacred and inborn freedom. This must be the underpinning, the very cornerstone of existence for all freedom loving individuals, regardless of their personal feelings on the matter.

The reason for this is eminently practical: without the power and the will to visit grievous harm and utter destruction upon those who would subdue you, their slaves shall you become. It is in the nature of men, whether nobly intended or maliciously so, to subdue those whose behaviors and beliefs are not sufficiently aligned with their own notions of a proper order of things; to force their compliance; to command them for the sake of command. It is an age-old saw that has never changed in all of the history of human empire, nor is it likely to change in even the far distant future.

We are what we are and we behave as we tend to. In this the statistical approach is the only sound one - judging humanity based on the general tendencies of the greater populations. In this, humanity is uncommonly predictable and because of that the free man must gird himself against the advances of the mindless, soulless, colorless mob whose constituents hold freedom with naught but the greatest disdain. The superior man is the common man's most hated enemy. The free man is the object of the willing slave's venom and lust to destroy all reminders of what the slave is not and can never be.

The free man is hated by the willing slave because he reminds the latter of his own cowardly, morbidly self-centered, grasping, flailing, and lassitude-laden choices in living: his unwillingness to embrace that which demands in return for its greatest gift but a single price to which he refuses to accede and assent: personal responsibility. Those sore reminders of his own unwillingness to be anything but low fills the slave with a raging and envy-spiked hatred for those who dare what he will not. For the willing slave there is no fate sufficiently degrading and destructive for such superior men. The superior man, the free man must be wiped from the earth as if he had never existed.

The liberty minded man, knowing the context of the world in which he lives as such, cannot in all good reason proceed on any other basis but to make of himself the most formidable and merciless foe of the low-man - the willing slave whose only goal in life is to lick the boots of his master whilst living a grand lie and hiding from the fact that he is not worth the match with which his master would light him ablaze.

Know ye then this and make thy choice in accord with that for which thou truly wisheth. Thine actions will reveal the sort of man thou art to the world and by the same shall the superior men separate themselves from, and stand above the rest.

What say ye then? What sort of man shalt thou choose to be?
