Alright, I am hoping everyone will head over to http://PoliticalCompass.com and take the quiz. Post your chart in here. Once we have enough, I would like to create a scatter chart of those of us on these forums.

I know there are definitely some issues with this quiz, and am willing to use a better one if most people agree on one. :)

Hey Tony, when I click the link, it takes me to a generic page that is full of ads and links. I cannot access the quiz.

This is a slightly more accurate quiz with far less loaded questions, IMO.

I can't take that quiz because it assumes stuff I object to and have not given up the fight on. The first question is like saying 'assuming there will be a huge, international, statist organization, who should run it' when my opinion is there should NOT be a huge, international, statest organization' 'for the benefit' of ANYONE.

I've taken this quiz before. It's just a bunch of questions that have nothing to do with actual issues. I'll pass.

The is the second time I've refused to continue the test. The questions are horribly written, and are racist.

I didn't answer strongly to most questions, since there seemed to be too many ways to interpret things. For instance, the question about going to war, in violation of international law. The question wasn't asking about the cause of the war, but whether or not we should obey international law for its own sake. It seemed too much like a loaded question. To be honest, I didn't like the test all that much, since too many of the questions seemed to be a bit off. And what's with this question? "Abstract art that doesn't represent anything shouldn't be considered art at all." I suppose "agree" would be the right wing answer...?

I think the education question got me... because i am ok with government voucher system so long as it is on a local scale instead of national.

I've always hated that quiz...what does my personal opinion on moral issues have to do with being a libertarian or not? You can hate drugs and be against them...heck, even crusade against them, but as long as you don't use force to stop people from doing so, you're still a libertarian.

By the logic of this quiz, you have to be ok, even morally, with drugs for you to be a libertarian.

Economic Left/Right: -3.88
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.82

Really I don't like either of these tests. The first one's questions can be too vague and mean too many things, the second one reminds me of the "world's smallest political quiz" in which it is pretty heavily biased in favor of libertarian as the result and thus loses its meaning.

http://www.quiz2d.com/quiz/resultGraph.php?personal=66.8&economic=80.1&picfile=RightFreedom.png
I prefer a school voucher system over just having nothing and I don't mind some regulation of broadcast material so we don't have trash all out in the public area.

So conflicting results. Am I a left-libertarian or a right-libertarian? Who knows...
