If anyone hasn't seen the ad you can view it here. (http://alcpac.com/rp_30sec_ver4_sm.mov)

but i would suggest you run these in NH , NV and IO...

winning the early states will do more to help you locally than a million tv ads..

we dont see RP putting resources into WI and TX..so why are we?

u can run ads just as easily with a NH cable station as easily as WI ....i keep telling people this here in NJ and i dont see why this is so hard to understand

It's up to each state's Meetups to run their own. Remember Operation NH?
http://www.operationnh.com/index.html

Several commercials are available right now for us to run and more should be forthcoming.

Keep the Momentum Going: Run Your Own TV Ads for Ron Paul

Our new goal is to get 100 different Meetup groups to air TV ads for Ron Paul.
Instructions

1. Collect a MINIMUM of $1,000 (no maximum) to purchase the airtime.
2. Fill out this form and xxx (Wisconsin Meetup organizer) or yyy (Op NH coordinator) will contact you ASAP to discuss how to get your commercial of choice on TV.
The Goal

The goal is to get 100 different Meetups to run TV ads for Ron Paul.

Note: I removed their names, but they are on the web site.

C'mon people, this is bringing tears to supporters around the world who are hearing about this. Uncommon valor, indeed.

Now, once we start these, I think these have got to stay up. As has been stated we gotta focus Iowa, New Hampshire, Michigan, Nevada, South Carolina, Florida....We have got to hammer RP name recognition non-stop.

We need a good article so that we can digg it sky high. Certainly we can get some solid press out of this. Open up peoples eyes.

If those Meetups/Pacs are committed to these non-stop thru first quarter 08, then we need a sticky of the addresses/paypal/funding mechanism that we can start sending contributions to keep this thing going.

There is much hope..................

This really is a great ad... I hope that the campaign can pick up the quality on the advertising end to match our free market productions :D. I haven't been crazy about the radio ads to date, but the campaign hopefully knows what it is doing.

For any future revisions to this TV ad, I would suggest adding some specifics regarding Dr. Paul's policies. Very powerful! Great work guys / gals!

Yes. Skiingff is running it on WMUR in NH as well. I know they were running for a time a couple weeks back. I'm not sure if they still are.

We will have new ads coming out soon, and we will push for funds to get them aired in the key states for sure.

Our SA meetup group ran some not too long ago:

Hey guys,
We did it! Thanks to your generous contributions, we raised $2000 to run advertisements for Ron Paul in San Antonio. The schedule we bought is as follows:
Beginning Monday, Oct. 22, running through Friday, Oct.26:

7 Spots to run on FOX News during the 6 AM - 11 AM time slot;
4 Spots to run on CNN during the 6 AM - 11 AM time slot; and
3 Spots to run Tues-Thurs during The Daily Show/Colbert Report time slot from 10 PM - 11 PM.

It may not sound like much bang for the buck, but the viewership during those time slots is high, so we should reach a good number of locals!
We are using the Ron Paul mosaic ad which can be viewed on www.alcpac.com. Chris Rye, the producer of the ad is adding our website (www.RonPaul2008SA.org) to the bottom of the ad for us!

Then I wonder what we celebrated all over the country back in the 70's (forgot the exact year, maybe 77) as the Bicentennial??

Someone please answer... because I do not have a memory problem that bad. Heck I even remember being taught about something to do with the constitution or the declaration back in the 1770's, from Elementary school. I haven't hit my head on anything since then (except another players helmet) so i know I'm not making this stuff up.

You are thinking about 1976 which celebrated the declaration of independence. Do you remember the articles of confederation? That was the document that detailed how the government would operate, but we scrapped it being that the government couldn't pay off the debt after the revolutionary war. A new document was drafted, and it's the one that is still considered the supreme law of the land today and the date it was finished was 1787.

So

Declaration of Independence - 1776

(The United States (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States) Declaration of Independence was an act of the Second Continental Congress (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Continental_Congress), adopted on July 4 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/July_4), 1776 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1776))
Declares independence from England.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Declaration_of_Independence

Articles of Confederation -1777

(The Articles of Confederation and Perpetual Union, commonly known as the Articles of Confederation, was the first governing document, or constitution (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Constitution), of the United States of America (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States). The final draft was written in the summer of 1777 and adopted by the Second Continental Congress (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Continental_Congress) on November 15 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/November_15), 1777 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1777) in York, Pennsylvania (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/York%2C_Pennsylvania) after a year of debate.)

Ads will also be running from the State College, PA Meetup group in less than a month. I've confirmed this with their Meetup organizer.

We plan $20,000 in ads for New Hampshire soon (or we'll play it by the book depending what the campaign does). It might even be more than $20,000 in ads.

So in sum we have the following Meetups running TV ads:
Wisconsin
SA Texas
Columbus OH
NH (Concord)
State College PA

The goal is to get 100 Meetup groups to do this, on top of the HUGE campaign we're planning for NH.... right now $5,000 raised out of $15,000 (I'm going to donate the other 5k to make it $20,000).

I am assuming this is only for a specific cable system. Is there any way to find out? For example, there are probably 4 different cable providers in my neighborhood and they all have different channel lineups. Regular networks are all the same, but I'm assuming extended cable channels are bought buy provider. Just wondering if I should bother looking out for this.

Surely you don't meet the Articles, right? Anyone who's taken 6th grade history knows that was a terrible document.
