Thank you to travis and http://nwoupdate.blogspot.com for helping me out tonight. Question: Why does your version of safety trump the framers version of freedom? Federal agents are permitted to write their own warrants by bypassing a judge. That violates my 4th amendment! The recipient of that warrant is prevented from telling anyone, including a judge, about the warrant, that violates my 1st amendment. Why did you vote for the extension of the unconstitutional Patriot Act?

But most of the problems with the Patriot Act that the Judge mentioned are the National Security Letters, and Congress didn't actually vote on that when they extended the three provisions a few weeks ago. I don't support the Patriot Act, but I think we have to actually point out specific problems with the three provisions that were just extended by Congress.
