If the state is bankrupt and the public sector employees get their money from the state, where do they think the money is going to come from? The reality is these public sector workers & unions are waging a proxy war on individuals that work in the private sector. They are using the power & full force of the state to accomplish this. If the state acquiesces to their demands, then the state has to somehow come up with the money to pay them. How do they do this? They raise taxes & fees on the rest of the private individuals that want nothing to do with the public largess. And the proxy war rages on.
The government thugs that are killing people in Egypt, Yemen, Bahrain, Libya etc... are all state workers. They are the public sector. They are the people that are employed by the state. They are the ones following orders to kill or detain their fellow citizens, brothers, sisters, mothers & fathers. It is the public sector worker that are the pawns for the state. They do not want to lose their inflated salary or golden pension (all of which is paid for by the private citizens), so they would rather kill the private citizen in order to keep what they have.
