Actor and television star Charlie Sheen is set to appear on The Alex Jones Show today for an exclusive live interview in which Sheen will set the record straight on the myriad of exaggerations, misinformation and outright falsehoods about his life that have been whipped up by the establishment media in recent weeks.

The interview will mark the first time Sheen has publicly addressed the plethora of stories circulating about his private life and career in any kind of depth.

Charlie Sheen really likes calling into radio shows. The troubled TV star took to the air waves once again, this time calling into syndicated radio show "The Alex Jones Show" to slam "Two and a Half Men" creator Chuck Lorre in a rambling, erratic interview.

Sheen ripped into Lorre, saying that he must have embarrassed him "in front of his children and the world by healing at a pace that his un-evolved mind cannot process." But Sheen didn't stop there went on to call Lorre a "turd" and a "clown" and later used an anti-semitic term while referring to Lorre's name. Sheen said he is eager to get back to work but has now seemingly escalated a very public battle with the producers the hit comedy.
Sheen was even more outrageous than in his recent series of radio interviews since announcing he was entering rehab, claiming he is "100 percent" clean. "Here is your first pee test," he said to Alex Jones, the "next one goes in your mouth. No, you wont get high." In the live interview Sheen also said he has no time for Alcoholic's Anonymous, saying "I am special and I will never be one of you" and referred to the group as a "bootleg cult" with a success rate of 5 precent. He went on to say "I have a disease? bulls**t! I cured it ... with my mind."
The interview comes as the actor left Los Angeles to spend some time in the Bahamas with his ex-wife, Brooke Mueller and his new girlfriend. In the the interview Sheen says Mueller left the vacation early and wished her well in her travels, sarcastically adding that his ex-wife is "going to need it, badly."
Earlier this week Sheen's father, actor Martin Sheen, broke his silence about his troubled son. "With prayer, we lift him up and we ask for everyone who cares about him to lift him up," Martin Sheen said Tuesday night at a movie premiere in London.

Sheen's hit CBS show is on hiatus. Still, the show's ratings are strong; even repeat episodes continue to bring in millions of viewers.
When Sheen was asked if he's ready to go back to work, he said, "I've been ready for like a year."
Despite Sheen's antics and all the negative headlines, his father said he hopes to one day share the screen again with his son.
"That would be another miracle," Martin Sheen said. "And we look forward to that so much so."

Sheen is also the biggest star Jones has probably ever had on. Say what you will about his issues but he is the highest paid guy on TV on a top 5 show that gets 20 million weekly viewers. He gives Jones an air of legitimacy and I'm sure he loves that.
