.The Intelligence Project identified 824 anti-government “Patriot” groups that were active in 2010. Of these groups, 330 were militias, marked with an asterisk, and the remainder includes “common-law” courts, publishers, ministries and citizens’ groups. Generally, Patriot groups define themselves as opposed to the “New World Order,” engage in groundless conspiracy theorizing, or advocate or adhere to extreme antigovernment doctrines. Listing here does not imply that the groups themselves advocate or engage in violence or other criminal activities, or are racist. The list was compiled from field reports, Patriot publications, the Internet, law enforcement sources and news reports. Groups are identified by the city, county or region where they are located.

Not sure if their manifesto or anything is online lol. Much like the Westboro Baptist Church this group uses their lawyers to sue others into submission. In their case they would try and harass adjacent property owners to take their property. The funny thing I remember was their leader was actually from Ohio, not Texas.

Yeah the DHS connection is quiety frightening. I am all for abolishing the DHS, it is an agency that is aimed at attacking Americans. It's the closest thing we have had to a police state organization that I have ever seen The abolishment of the DHS is a very high priority for me. 308). The next morning Maureene objected strongly to the night's
events and stated emphatically that she did not want anything of

September, 1976, she and Morris went to New York for a tennis
tournament and to take one of the children to a special school in

visiting Deborah Levy and Michael Gaas (R. 310). While the group
was having dinner together in a restaurant Maureene, returning from
the restroom, overheard Morris and Deborah making plans to be together
the following afternoon (R. 315). Later when confronted with this
Morris admitted having such plans (R. 320). Later in a conversation
among the four of them, Morris stopped the conversation in the
middle and said to Michael Gaas "I've just got to tell you this
because I feel bad about it. I want to tell you that Deborah and I
were planning to go off this afternoon and make love and I just want
to tell you that." (R. 322). This embarassed Maureene and made her
furious (R. 324). Gaas responded that if that's what Morris was here
to do he should just get up and go do it, following which Morris and
Deborah got up and went into the bedroom where they remained for
about forty-five minutes (R. 325, et seq). While they were gone
Maureene had sexual intercourse with Michael (R. 326). Afterward
Morris left the apartment, returned in about thirty minutes and hit
Michael in the face (R. 327).

As the below document makes clear, Southern Poverty Law Center is Now Officially Part of DHS. The CEO of SPLC now sits on the DHS “Working Group on Countering Violent Extremism” along with the leaders of other So-called Non Government Organizations (but can we really call them such now that they are part of the government?) And select “law enforcement” officers such as the Clark County Nevada Sheriff, Doug Gillespie. What does the working group do? Make recommendations on training and how to use all of the local resources – police, social services, media, NGO’s, you name it – to fight “extremism. So, now no need to file a FOIA request to discover that SPLC is writing the reports naming constitutionalists as possible terrorists. Now it is in your face and the mask is off.

When you read the below document, keep in mind the current ordeal of the Irish family where their newborn baby was taken (http://oathkeepers.org/oath/2010/10/07/oath-keepers-statement-about-video-titled-government-agents-seize-oath-keepers-new-born-from-hospital/) based on an affidavit that notes the father’s “association with a militia group known as Oath Keepers.”. Pay attention to who sits on this panel (see pages 26-30), to who DOESN’T, how they plan on reaching DHS tentacles down into every level of society, and how they talk overtly about the need to utilize local SOCIAL WELFARE and MENTAL HEALTH agencies to counter “violent extremism.”. In other words, what is now being done to the Irish family (http://oathkeepers.org/oath/2010/10/07/oath-keepers-statement-about-video-titled-government-agents-seize-oath-keepers-new-born-from-hospital/) will be done all over.

This is the overt politicization of DHS, to use it against political enemies

And that means, under current law, Section 802 of the PATRIOT Act that was just renewed, among many other laws, word could go out tomorrow to start arrests, prosecutions and inclusion on Do Not Fly (and God knows how many other lists) of every single person associated with any of these groups.

Nothing could be more relevant and important.

I talked with the JBS guys at CPAC for like an hour last year, and they were absolutely fantastic. I was very impressed. But I talked to an old lady who loved the organization at a local tea party event (I was there handing out anti-Gingrich and anti-Romney materials) and from what she told me, I guess there isn't much of a JBS presence where I live though :(

Go to the JBS website (http://www.jbs.org/) and on the right hand side, click on "Find a JBS Chapter" and type your zip code. It will give you the contact information for a local JBS coordinator. The JBS has chapters all over the country.

Yeah, I gotta renew my subscription to the New American. It's the best magazine I've read. I got a few free issues last year and their coverage of the Libya invasion was fantastic.

I just looked at the new posts for some mention/reference of WND,, and didn't see any.

That area [Northern Indiana , Northern Illinois, Northern Ohio/ Michigan ) has had , for a very long time , a huge FBI PAID INFORMANT SNITCH PROGRAM , thus they have more info on the targets , targets basically consist of anyone who is vehemently NOT socialist , communist or anti Constitution, These people mess up the big bloated govt plan and are percieved as a threat to huge theft through UnConstitutional taxation , deficit spending , unfunded liabilities , so they are routinely brought down by lying scumbags who recieve thousands of dollars of your tax money .
