:D — From the article:

“We’re thrilled the Congressman chose to attend as our special guest,” said Chris Buck, Chairman of the Dover Republican Committee. “Congressman Paul has a history of advancing innovative ideas about the role of government, and we are looking forward to hearing what he has to say. This is a big deal for Dover Republicans.”

NH GOP Chairman Jack Kimball (himself a Dover resident) will also speak, and will take the opportunity to welcome the potential presidential candidate to New Hampshire.

Thoughts on the best way to handle these republican city committee events?

Candidates court a few of nh's larger rcc's

Do we wave signs outside the venue? It's just a rcc meeting

they asked ron to come speak because he draws a big crowd. this invitation to speak is actually a fundraiser for the local gop group.
if you want to help dr. paul. buy a ticket. dress chic. go to the gathering and have a good time.

we want to show local gop groups that accepting ron paul will bring growth and funds to their group.

The honest truth is that this isn't good enough. It just seems like an obligatory trip. He needs to be camped out in NH for a few months in order to win it, just like John McCain did back in 2007. But I don't blame him, Romney has NH locked up this time it appears.

Please explain the reasoning behind this statement so we can hatch a plot to undo Mitt's lead.

There is a Boston conservative talk radio station that reaches southern NH. Seems like most of the hosts are infatuated with Romney and talk about him any chance they get.

Mitt grew up in the N.E., and he has been polling remarkably well.

Ok. I'll take one for the team. I'm willing to jump in front of Mitt's limo when he campaigns here in NH. The bad press will surely put Ron over the top. If I move to Mass prior and enroll in Romneycare I won't have to worry about my hospital bills.
