Really? According to Nightline on ABC, Huckabee is the leading frontrunner in the GOP. Guess they missed the memo when he got his ass stomped at CPAC.

I hate the MSM. I hope they burn. Shamelessly lying, it's getting disgusting.

Yeah, I've been seeing this around too. I think I read an article from townhall talking about cpac and how rp has rude supporters. He said that cpac was dumb and that the real candidate "mike huckabee" wasn't even there so it didn't matter. I've read some other articles touting Huck as the front runner.

An interesting side note, I work with a pretty progressive guy and he said he hopes Huck gets the nomination because obama could talk about Huck pardoned a lot of guys and apparently at least one guy he pardoned killed some people after he got out.

Regardless Huck is a neocon and he doesn't have the voting record that rp has.

RP FTW!

Unfortunately, Huckabee is doing well when it comes to polling. But it's too early to take that seriously.

Even after he pardoned a rapist who went on to rape again and a thug who went on to kill multiple cops?

Huck is the worst of the worst....a big government Republican that uses small government catch-phrases, just like Reagan.

From the article:

If he does join the fray, he says there will be a big difference between this run and his 2008 bid: “Money—lots of it,” he says. “We did it before on a dime … I don’t plan to jump in a pool that has no water.”

Wonder if his guys can raise 400k in a day, on a weeks notice, for a candidate that has not even declared yet?

CNN also had this segment discrediting Ron Paul.

Paul came in 5th in their poll, they listed the top 5 winners from the poll and had short segments on 4 of them.

Who was excluded? You bet. Ron Paul.

Support for Huckabee runs deep in a lot of areas. I think he will be the one for us to look out for in Iowa

Very bible beating states will go for the huck so far as they are not mormon where they will go for the other shit head. Sad that this sort of thing can win an election.

Sometimes the christian right nuts pisses me off more then anyone else. Because they should know better i guess.

Huck might could win the nomination (maybe) but he'll never be able to beat Obama. The left won't get near him being a minister and all. And a lot of the right won't support him either due to his record that I've mentioned previously in this thread.

This, no way can he beat Obama.

The GOP is running out of time. Are they going to risk losing again with another candidate that is not conservative enough? Or will they forge ahead with a rhino and hope Obama's voters from 2008 will stay home?

They're both the same option, as far as I can tell.

I think the GOP leadership is incapable of saving themselves. If they nominate another RINO or a neocon then they undo the Tea Party gains of 2010 and that's the end of the GOP, in my opinion. Even if you didn't like Ron Paul, there's only one candidate who clearly stands out with a track record that matches the rhetoric. They have to be willing to change or there will be a lot of angry voters. I was hoping after 2008 the Republican Party would fracture into two different parties but the Tea Party movement was able to stave it off. No grassroots movement can save the GOP if they fail again.

Anyone remember the fake huck forum than ran for a few months back in late 2007?
Sad thing was most people though the trolls there were real.
