9th largest oil exporter and you think they'll just let those people figure it out? :rolleyes: You'd have to be pretty naive to think the U.S. isn't going to get involved in one way or another.

So are a lot of places. Look, sure you can argue that from a moral standpoint you'd want to intervene and prevent unnecessary bloodshed but the problem is that usually once the fighting is over the interventionist usually stay and want to dictate how the country should be run and consequently insight hatred. If the interventionists were capable of just stopping the fighting and then leave I'd agree. But they never are.

It's just better to leave them deal with it maybe let the neighboring countries help out that actually might claim a national security motive.
