Shoot, I missed it by 5 days. I ordered my copy on Friday. I just received my e-mail from Amazon that they just shipped it off. I should get it in a couple days.

"local." There is no difference if you buy it from Barnes and Noble/Joseph Beth or Amazon. It'd be nice if you had a local book store to buy it there. Then again, I am a Buy Local nazi.

For NY times best sellers it has to be brick and morter. There is a separate amazon list but it isn't as well known and doesn't get as much media. I bought one on line through a bluegrass bulletin link (note to Josh, I think the site gets some money when people buy through those amazon links). However, I live in Los Angeles and I'm not sure I'll see this book here. I will go to a nearby bookstore today to look for it, though, and if I find one, I'll buy it for my aunt. She thought Ron was ok, but lives in Nevada and was completely turned off by Sharon Angle. I'd like to woo her back.
