I am posting this as a FYI, I did search for it but didnt find anything. If the Air Force has this then that means there is a very good chance other branched of Govt do as well.
The U.S. Air Force purchased software designed to create an army of fake, on line people.

What does all this mean to us? Well, for one that they have something to hide and that, as they say, they have a very pronounced interest in " manipulating public opinion on key information and news".
This comes on the heels of another such Air Force public deception venture: the creation of the Air Force counter blogging command...I kid you not. They even have flow charts for their counter blogging agents, with detailed instructions on how to approach internet postings that don't meet with the Air Force approval and how to change public perception of the subject matter:
