Why would she run? It'd take time, effort and money. Right now she's got a good high paying job where she's not accountable to any voters.

Good thing. At least she'll be elected rather than an unelected bureaucrat. With the help of the liberty movement, she'll lose, meaning she'll waste a lot of money trying to run.
