The Australians are getting fed up with gun control as well. They should have never handed over their guns in the first place.

We won't be repeating that mistake here.

That's for sure. Watching the videos of unarmed people fighting for their rights in Egypt entrenched the idea that we need our guns for the exact reason our founders gave us the Second Amendment.

Canadian here:

Any time guns come up with anyone I come across I ensure my fellow Canadians are aware that guns don't kill people. The Govt kills people. Guns keep the GOVT in check. I've turned staunch liberals.

I remember when they passed the law that all firearms had to be registred, and the registry ended up costing $200 or so million and overnight turned millions of law abiding gun owners into criminals, myself included. I never bothered registering my handgun, and I never will, no matter where I live. (not that I have the option of registering it here in Spain, I'm just simply not allowed to have one)

Snopes is helpful at times. Not at others. They are not infallible. They have a leftist bias.
Keep that in mind when using them.

And even with that, they were not able to claim any huge, earth shattering decrease in crime that the gun banners claim would happen.

They may want them back, but I so very seriously doubt they will be getting them back. Ever.

Imbeciles.

It is so sad to hear that Spain is such a political shit hole. But god damn you have to most wreckingly beautiful women. I think the one area where Spain shines is the law that forbids ugly women to go out in public. My time in Spain was spent with my tongue sweeping the cobblestones. I just could not believe that so many stunningly, painfully gorgeous women existed in one place.

Hubba hubba.

I don't trust snopes to the door. Then again, I don't trust much. Way too much buillshit out there. One needs to be ever so careful.
