I never thought I was a Conservative until Ron Paul defined it correctly.

I never came to a conclusion when 'life began' before joining Dr Paul's campaign.

simply put.. a man and woman both produce something that will NEVER change..
but when you combine them.. the ingredients are mixed.. and a change takes place.. and they begin to grow.. life.. conception...

very simply... flour and sugar and water.. never change... but combined..
they're 'transformed' into the beginnings of a new creation.. food... a cake..

they will ALWAYS be flour, sugar, and water.. until combined to form
something completely different.. food..

Same with the woman and man.. theirs will ALWAYS BE THE SAME.. until combined
to be something completely different.. a baby...

I had given up on electoral politics until Ron Paul decided to run (even though I had secretly been wanting him to run for a decade).

I never imagined I would vote Republican before Ron Paul.

I vomited and immediately changed the channel when I saw even a mention of Presidential debates before Ron Paul; now, I look forward to each and every one!

Before Ron Paul, it had been 10 years since I supported a campaign, either financially or with my time.

I had never stood out on the street corner holding signs and waving before Ron Paul.

I never wished I lived in the same town as a campaign HQ so I could work for them before Ron Paul.

I have never voted in a primary election, but I will for Ron Paul.

I never had a bumper sticker on my car before Ron Paul. Now I have 2. (technically they're on magnets, but you know what I mean) And I bought 6 more (with magnets) for family members.

I've never purchased a candidate t-shirt before.

I've never left anything political in a restaurant before.

I've never argued/debated with neocons before.

I've never donated to a political campaign before.

I've never voted in a text poll before.

I've never ordered yard signs before.

I've never yelled in excitement at seeing a political yard sign in an out of the way place before.

I've never honked the horn at a passing motorist because they have the same bumper sticker as me before. (that would get you killed in NJ)

I've never watched a political debate start to finish before.

Bottom line: I've never given a crap before. Like the Seattle sign said "RON PAUL CURED MY APATHY."

:)

It's The God's honest truth..

Thought I was very liberal.. first registered as a Democrat many years ago..
switched to Independent several years ago...

And.. EVERYTHING that Dr Paul has taught me about TRUE CONSERVATISM..

IS EXACTLY HOW I"VE ALWAYS FELT.. believed..ect..

And.. I had an early intro to Dr Paul at the beginning of the summer..
and pretty much figured it out once I heard Dr Paul speak about it..

Now..
what about the untold MILLIONS that are NOW JUST LEARNING ABOUT DR. PAUL?

I believe enough of them have enough brain power to figure it out once they learn
and get the facts and details...

But.. to me... the BIGGEST thing was..
after hearing the Doctor talk about life at conception..

it kind of all made sense.. only life grows and develops.. like a fetus.. a baby..
"fetus" is so 'cold' sounding...

It's a growing baby once the ingredients of life are combined.. IMO..

Wow, this thread has the makings of a great commercial for Ron Paul!
Imagine about a dozen or so people from different walks of life each making a single statement:

Person 1: I never gave money to a political cadidate before...
Person 2: I never volunteered for a political candidate before...
Person 3: I never stood on a street corner and waved a political sign before...
.
.
.
Person 12: I never had hope for America's future before, until I found out about Ron Paul for President.

Entire group: Find out about Ron Paul.

I've never before in my life given a dime to a politician before Ron Paul, though I have given quite a few the finger.

More importantly, read through all these posts and then tell me this is NOT a revolution!!!

Guess what ruling elite!? We're coming for you, and you'd be wise to be gone by the time we get there!

I never gave more than $500 to a candidate before (The most I gave previously was ~$400 to Harry Browne in 1996 and 2000).

I never purchased and wore an entire wardrobe based on one candidate (I have Ron Paul Tshirts for every day of the week).

I never had my wife tell me that my obsession for a candidate is getting out of hand:

Wife: Back away from the computer and take the dog for a walk.
Me: Okay, just a minute, I just have to vote in some more polls, and print up some more Ron Paul stickers, and order another Tshirt, and make a donation, print the map to the next "meetup", rate some Ron Paul Youtube videos, and check the Ron Paul Forums, and...
