The all-seeing, all-knowing Big Brother from the novel 1984 is upon us. With almost everyone using the internet on a daily basis, and with the consolidation of the majority of that information in a few hands, it is now undergoing the final consolidation.

Apple CEO Steve Jobs, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, and Google CEO Eric Schmidt are among the technology industry executives President Barack Obama will meet with Thursday in San Francisco, according to a person familiar with the private session.

A source familiar with the invitation list confirmed Wednesday that the Silicon Valley executives will discuss Obama's tech agenda and proposed $3.73 trillion fiscal year 2012 budget during a private event the White House bills as part of its outreach to the nation's business community.

Zuckerberg, Schmidt and other participants are also apt to be interested in the administration's just-announced policy on Internet freedom that aims to give people ways around barriers in cyberspace and make it harder for autocratic governments to use the same technology to stifle political opponents.
