So after the senate passed it (86-12) the bill went back to the house because the Senate changed the extension from 3 years to 90 days, if I understand correctly.
However I am a little confused, because a lot of votes changed from the first two votes
http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2011/roll026.xml
http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2011/roll036.xml

and todays vote
http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2011/roll045.xml

For instance Amash voted no first two times, but yes this time... is it because its a much shorter extension?
And Sires / Israel voted yes the first two times, but no now...
Just wondering if I'm missing something. Clarification appreciated.

First right after it passed in the House for 10 months, they tried to pass it in the Senate for 3 years by unanimous consent, but Rand objected, shoving it out for a full, recorded, floor vote. He got a deal that it was just extended for 90 days ( but he voted against that, too.) NOW we have to get people fired up to fight it. The Senate will be debating it, Rand wants to repeal parts that aren't even up (NSL's) and at least get judicial review with warrants, Feinstein wants to extend it 3 years (after the elections) with no changes, and McConnell et al want to make it permanent.

Meanwhile, I'm sure what the House passed was the 90 day one passed in the Senate.

Today's vote was simply a procedural vote. The house hasn't voted on the actual bill yet.
