I liked Amash's story at CPAC on why he wasn't an original co-sponsor. RP's people were slow sending the bill to Amash's office and Justin refuses to co-sponsor anything he hasn't read, even if it's from RP. That got some applause from the C4L crowd.

For now I think that's your answer. I'll give both Lee and Toomey's offices a call tomorrow and see what they say. I'll fax them a letter and write on their facebook walls too just for good meausure.

Any other Senators that could be easy to convince? Once we get a few it's a lot easier to convince the more "moderate" ones

My rep Don Young is a pro-war conservative, but I give the guy credit he's better than 80% of DC. He always votes against the Patriot Act, voted against all the bailouts and has been an early supporter of the audits twice now. He's also stood with Ron on a few 430-2 votes.
