I think a great way to turn people on to the message of liberty and freedom is through movies. So many people won't read a book, but they will watch a good movie. The seeds can be planted through that.

SUGGESTIONS

Serenity (and Firefly)
The Patriot
Braveheart
The Matrix
Star Wars
V for Vendetta

Please list any other mainstream movies that you could see being used to help promote our agenda.
Documentaries and youtube videos and independent and overly political message movies aren't what I am talking about here. :)

V for Vendetta, the televised speech always gets me going.

Brazil

Idiocracy

Both for portraying events satirically in a sci-fi setting, that actually happen on a daily basis.

Land of the Blind. Didn't get great ratings, but I really liked it.
"Nothing beats a big, juicy steak. Stale bread is better than nothing. Therefore, stale bread is better than a big, juicy steak". Gotta love it!

I thought Equilibrium was better than the Matrix myself.

That movie was slow as heck. The only really awesome scene was the rotunda- not to mention that the whole thing was just a rant on the evils of capitalism.

And oddly enough, that Atlas Shrugged trailer looks pretty good. Much better than the book.

You can find it online pretty easily. I don't want to post anything here and get the forum in trouble.

Scanner Darkly, has AJ in it...kinda shows a totalitarian government with an emphasis of the drug war.

I really liked the message. The overall production value was pretty poor, but I would definitely consider it a "Liberty" movie.

Watchmen is also a good one, mainly for the ending.
