The idiots in the room are completely ignorant and won't listen. One believes that Obama can't end these wars because of the Geneva Convention... I can only laugh.

Yeah, and even better he said he studied it in University and other related topics. I kept asking for him to tell me where the Geneva Conventions mandate us to bomb Yemen and Pakistan and when it says we can leave Afghanistan and Iraq. I also asked about the JSOC wars. He never answered of course. If it wasn't so sad, it would be funny. Then he said libertarians = death to poor. Then they banned me from chat. We need to abolish public indoctrination asap.

I started the discussion of war, because Obama is just continuing Bush's violent war policies.

Also, when that mod in the chat mentioned "libertarians = death to poor", I responded by stating that perhaps if people weren't taxed upwards of 40% and beyond (a majority of which goes to the funding of killing people through war, which I do not wish to fund as I abhor it, and it does not go to the poor) then they could be happily donating a large amount of that 40% to charities that feed the poor more effectively. He responded by laughing in my face and claiming we have the lowest tax rate in the world. That did not address the issue! Whether or not nearly half of your income is considered "low" to him (???!!!), that is still nearly half of my income I would love to donate to help feed the poor with more directly. Charity is more effective than force at the point of a gun. The compassionate way to take care of the poor is by doing so voluntarily! Charity works!

Don't forget the charity is a myth guy. :p

Yeah, what is up with that? And then that mod started banning people left and right, then made it so "viewers" (regular registrants) could only say something once a minute, then made it so only "followers" (people they preselected and mods) could speak, and claimed "that is how you deal with trolls". ???!!! Wow, so they love war and want to steal our money for it so that we cannot use it to donate to feed the poor. Nice. Real compassionate there.

He also claimed that in the past 10 years people have donated to charity less (not sure if true), as if that proves charity doesn't work, and completely ignored the fact that a reduction in taxes would free up money that could go directly to feeding the poor. The current rate of taxation makes it very difficult to donate to feeding the poor, and the government doesn't do it very well either.

How odd, as they were going on about how right he was about budget cuts and the wars.... how right RP was...

We are one of the lower rates, but even including VAT, we are not the lowest. There are several lower.

Many countries have 0% at the low end for the poor and Finland, for example, has no individual income tax and a 20% VAT. Saudi Arabia is also a low one and there are others.

What happened in the chat room wasn't related to what Ron was saying, but to what myself and other supporters were saying.

Im confused, did this chat have any connection to the live TV that CNN was broadcasting? were you like asking questions to the guests that were on?

No, it was a chat room at the justin.tv link in the OP of this thread.
