YAL Iowan’s it is of the uttermost importance that you inform your fellow YAL members to sign up for ronpaulforums.com, members are there to help. If you need a reasonable chip-in for essential Ron Paul campaign material or tickets for the Ames Strawpoll, RPF (ronpaulforums.com) members can help. On chip-in request please indicate, who you are, precisely what you need, and the cost breakdowns. Here is a direct link to the forum that would apply to chip-ins for the Iowa Strawpoll! http://www.ronpaulforums.com/forumdisplay.php?300-Iowa-Straw-Poll

Most members on Ron Paul forums understand the importance of the Ames Strawpoll, and will do everything within our capabilities to assist your efforts, to help us get Ron Paul elected in 2012.

At the Ames Straw Poll, Ron Paul will need roughly 7-8000 votes to win. 15-25,000 voters will participate in the Straw Poll. Those kinds of numbers are daunting, when we consider, Ron Paul only received 11,841 votes in the Iowa Caucus Jan-2008. Increased membership is essential to our efforts, at each of your chapters, and those that need to be created.

Below is a list of the current YAL Chapters in Iowa, this list needs to vastly improve to include high schools and community colleges. Please talk to friends and family at colleges and high schools, across Iowa.

America has been suffering far too long under Republican and Democrat Corporatism. No matter who is in office, the right and left continue to spend and devalue American’s life savings. Many homes worth $400,000 just 5 years ago, and considered most peoples life savings, dropped in value to $200,000 overnight. One day Americans woke up and found out that their homes had just tanked, along with their savings.

Most YAL members are just starting out in life, don’t let what happen to today’s home owners happen to you. It’s theft by our government through the president's working group on financial markets.

Last I heard the Iowa State chapter, at Ames, was inactive.

It was, but they are trying to get it going again. UNI and Iowa chapters are active and strong. Members from these schools have been helping out ISU to get it going again.

Kram is correct. Things are heating back up at ISU.

Furthermore we have things happening, in addition to the chapters you listed, at Cornell College (Mount Vernon), Central College (Pella), Des Moines Area Community College, North Iowa Community College (Dubuque), Loras College (Dubuque), University of Dubuque, and Sioux City Community College. I will pass on your invitation to all chapters and members, and encourage them to join RPF.
