" [...]

In a nutshell here is what some of those of whom I speak, have been saying:

First, there is no threat to us from those who are practicing Muslims. Second, the small sect of radicals within that faith are akin to the KKK and neither are they a threat to us. Third, that the United States needs to stop meddling in foreign affairs and let each country determine its own destiny, no matter what that might be, or else we are being unfaithful to the true cause of liberty. Fourth, the government should stay out of trade among nations. Fifth, Israel is capable of defending itself and therefore we need not be dragged into conflicts over Israel. Sixth, the movement in Egypt is not a threat to our interests. Seventh, we have a problem with "corporatists" and the "military" which uses government to further the interests of a few, over the interests of many.

Have I missed anything or misstated anything folks? I want to make sure I understand you completely. I do plan on listening, studying what you say and analyzing it carefully. Tell me more. Add knowledge to the debate, not venom. Consider that your point of view might not be as familiar to many as it is to you. Just because you encounter people who don't have your education, training and experience in these matters doesn't meant that they are the enemy. Maybe you have a light you can share.

Here's your chance."

He moderates everything, so it might be a while before your comment appears.

Marcus always had good words for Rand, he was our greatest ally in the media in KY. Help the guy out :)

He's not in the media, partisan bloggers are not media. Joe Arnold was the biggest ally in the media.

There is a thread on this already but it is under a different bluegrass bulletin article. It is talking about this, though, if you are interested.
