Buckley is dead, FYI.

Yes, and?

William F. Buckley, Jr. started Young Americans for Freedom.

The first Constitutionalist Purge: (http://www.thenewamerican.com/index.php/usnews/politics/5263-faux-conservatism-fox-gets-it-wrong)

Although Robert Welch has been the recipient of the most vicious and sustained attack from Buckley's Politburo at National Review (and the echo chambers it feeds), other conservatives, including many of that magazine's former top-drawer writers and editors — L. Brent Bozell, Ayn Rand, Medford Evans, M.E. Bradford, Sam Francis, Joseph Sobran, John O'Sullivan, Pat Buchanan, Paul Gottfried, Murray Rothbard, and Peter Brimelow — were similarly purged. They were replaced by neocoservatives such as Irving Kristol, Norman Podhoretz, Midge Decter, Peter Rodman, Garry Wills, Michael Lind, Joan Didion, William Bennett, Karl Rove, Paul Gigot, Richard Lowry, Kate O'Beirne, Jonah Goldberg, and Ramesh Ponnuru (Wills, Lind, and a few others have since migrated to the far liberal-left).

How many of these threads are there now, five?

this isn't about foreign policy, it is about Sorba (YAF's president) being booed off stage at last CPAC after he first booed another speaker who commended CPAC for inviting GOProud. Sorba then got on stage and condemned CPAC for inviting GOProud and started this sort of anti-gay tirade and he was booed off stage. Since the crowd was waiting for Ron Paul to come on to speak, he blamed YAL and Ron. There is a youtube of it when he tells Jeff FRazee "YAF is now YAL's enemy! You have made an enemy of me!" and apparently this is his revenge.

Ron's policies haven't changed in 30 years, and YAF gave him their highest award while he held those foreign policy positions. They have nothing to do with it; it is just cover for YAF's putrid behavior.

YAF isn't libertarian.

This is really a distraction issue that only the politicos care about. The average voter will never see nor care about this. Let's move on and focus on more important things, such as the President's Day MoneyBomb to Ron Paul's Liberty PAC!

So why are you bumping all these old threads from the depths of the web page to the top by saying so?
