Hey everyone,

TheRightScoop.com has a poll going at the top of their page. Currently, Sarah Palin is in the lead. Go vote for our favorite congressman from Texas, please!

Thanks!

Voted. Cain is currently ahead of Ron, too.

Break link?

Yeah, I'm not sure who Herman Cain is.

Why break the link? It's called a hyperlink for a reason. This was the reason the internet was created, so we could link to another page, and the link is the command that takes us. Clickthroughs drop to a 1/4th of what they would be if the link was broken and people had to type it in themselves.

I mean I understand the whole notion of " we dont want to give them hits" but they are going to get hits by voting in the poll anyway, so in this context, it doesn't do much good than to reduce the number of people that would vote in the poll on Ron's behalf.

I've been told that there is a record of where you came from and that if a whole bunch of hits come from here and Ron is winning I do know that his name has been pulled in the past and they assume we cheat.

Noted and changed. Good point.

Come on guys, what the hell!! There are 300 people online here at any given time. Ron needs just 250 more votes to take the lead!

You can still supply the correct link to copy and paste, without having it be "active". Here's how: Immediately below the "Submit New Post" button is a box with "Additional Options" at the upper left. In the top part of that box, un-tick the option to "Automatically parse links in text".

(When posting a "Quick Reply" you won't see this, you must "Go Advanced" to find it.)

They probably took it down when they saw Paul spiking. Oh well, we tried. :) We all know who the real winner is anyway.

I follow TRS on twitter, here is what he said:

"Results of my poll. You can discount Paul's numbers by 137 if you want. DailyPaul put up a post to skew poll http://plixi.com/p/77142942"

The poll looks to be down.

We need to build an archive of the history of polls being pulled why Ron Paul climbs, it will make one hell of a YouTube video! Who knows, "I could call 7 On Your Side" about it. haha

Those people at DailyPaul need to learn how to break links. :P
