I'm watching Piers Morgan's new show on CNN that replaced Larry King. He has a different kind of interviewing style, but the segments range from 8 minutes to an hour (Romney). I saw this on the news:
San Francisco Chronicle - Piers Morgan's Ratings Plummeting On CNN (http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/g/a/2011/02/02/benzinga825733.DTL)
Since the show debuted with Oprah on January 17, total viewership has fallen 76% and 69% in the key 25-54 age demographic. Total viewership for Piers' debut show was 2,099,000. By January 27th, that number had fallen to 498,000.
CNN is already taking steps to address the declining viewership of Piers Morgan Tonight. Just today the network announced that they have hired former Barbara Walters booker Katie Nelson Thomson.
So..... I think you know where I'm headed. An interview with the winner of CPAC 2011 Straw Poll and a ratings monster. I bet a lot of people would turn in for that interview.
Piers Morgan's Twitter is @piersmorgan (http://twitter.com/#!/piersmorgan) and his Facebook page is http://www.facebook.com/PiersTonight. We could respectfully ask him to have Ron Paul on as a guest for the full hour to talk about a wide ranging number of subjects.
