Paul's consecutive victories in the straw poll have frustrated many GOP faithful who would rather see a more credible contender win. A CPAC official told Fox News that the big story is not Paul winning again but rather the strength of Romney's second-place finish.

Faux got its hit piece up first so everyone is linking to them.

He gauges how long to keep the Paul picture up based on linking traffic though. No clicking and Paul goes away.

Did Rand Paul get any write ins. Just asking.

Not sure why he would when Ron is on the ballot.

Second ballot for second choice couldn't be the same as your first choice. Some people were saying they planned to write Rand in, so I just wondered. Nothing was coordinated or anything.

I also wonder who officially got third. Christie or Johnson.

BrooklynZoo

Johnson took third with 6% and also third in second choice, at 23%. Everyone else had low numbers.

I presume FAUX NEWS had to prep their "HIT PIECE on Ron Paul" their LIVE news took them a good 30+ minutes after to announce the winner of CPAC.

anchor, "This year's winner of the 2011 CPAC straw is Ron Paul again." with less than luke warm demeanor.

Then they showed their FOX FIXED NEWS POLL from Feb 7-9, 2011, on which GOP would make a good president?

The Top order:
Huckabee 34%
Romney 33%
Newt 23%
Palin 23%
Jeb Bush 21%
Christie 29%
Trump 23%
Pawlenty 21%
Bachmann 16%
Barbour 16%

No Ron Paul

Drudge's traffic is off the charts.

Having a main headline there is like having 1000 smaller headlines on other large sites.

Christie and Johnson each got 6% and some papers put one first, some the other. They don't give the decimal breakdown.

I just sent this to Drudge:

About the Ron Paul win, there is a more neutral story at the Washington Times.

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2011/feb/12/rep-ron-paul-captures-cpac-straw-poll/

The Fox story is really biased against Paul.
