$1500 to the Liberty PAC.

Planning on getting pledges from as many people as I can to max out the week he announces he's running. - Gotta make Q1 2011 a HUGE one (now until end of March). I think we can break $50 million this time.

Just dropped $25 for Ron!

I'm loving the new article on his CPAC win. "The real news here is how high Romney's second place score was..." So when Romney won last month, why didn't they say " the real news isn't that Romney won, but how high Paul's second place score was.."

Can non-American citizens donate to LitertyPAC?

Can non-American citizens donate to LitertyPAC?

I do not think so. Here is from the donation page:

Federal law requires all online contributors to confirm that the following statements are true and accurate. If you cannot confirm each statement, you are not eligible to contribute to Liberty PAC.

1. This contribution is made on a personal credit or debit card for which I have the legal obligation to pay, and is made neither on a corporate or business entity card nor on the card of another.

2. I am a United States citizen or a lawfully-admitted permanent resident.

3. I am making this contribution with my own personal funds, and I will not be reimbursed by anyone for this contribution.

4. I am not a federal government contractor.

5. I am at least 18 years of age.

By clicking “Make Donation” you agree to the terms above.

Can non-American citizens donate to LitertyPAC?

No. I assume you can probably donate to RP's educational organization (http://www.free-nefl.com/), though, if you'd like to help the cause.

Of course, that won't directly help him or anyone else in a political campaign. It will just support educational endeavors. And, that being the case, you may have other similarly oriented organizations that you'd rather donate to (and that frankly may do a better job at that aspect of things). The Independent Institute (http://independent.org/) is another one I really like. The Mises Institute (http://mises.org/) and antiwar.com (http://www.antiwar.com/) are a couple other places where your donation will help advance the same causes RP champions, and indirectly help his candidacy.

Thank you for your generous donation to Liberty PAC. Your donation affords Ron the flexibility he needs to test the waters and determine his next best step as he continues to fight for Liberty.

Liberty PAC funds will allow for travel, speaking out, hiring staff, and funding mail, phones, emails, and banner, TV, and radio ads to contact, educate, and persuade our fellow Americans.

Thanks. I donate to the Mises Canada branch and the BC Civil Liberties Union. And I buy a crap load of literature from Mises.org.

They make it hard to directly contribute to Ron's political campaign - which is exactly the point I guess. :-p Unfortunately, our only self-proclaimed libertarian politicians (Rona Ambrose, Maxime Bernier, Scott Reid) are more corporatist than libertarian.

One way to get around the foreign deal is to have a reputable person in the movement who does not have the funds to max out become a Paul Revere so to speak. You transfer them funds, and then they donate it to Liberty PAC. Not sure if that counts as illegal, but if it does then do it in PM/Skype/etc.. Makes it harder to trace that way. :p

It definitely counts as illegal. Ron Paul certainly would disavow any such behavior, as would Ron Paul Forums I'm sure. Although it would theoretically work if arranged privately with someone you trusted.

I recall one 2008 presidential campaign bid donation form specifically asking the donor to verify they hadn't received the funds from another individual for the purpose of donating it. There are lots of ways a truly grassroots effort can handle the situation. There were no limits on donations to the blimp rental or any number of independent endeavors.

We'd buy our own T-shirts, signs, and slim jims, most of us just because that's how we roll, but that's also a way to spend beyond the donation limits. We had benefactors who had hit the donation limits who could pick up big ticket items, such as the cost of shipping a skid of signs from an early primary state to a later primary state. A truly grassroots effort does these things organically, but I'm sure the big campaigns have ways of directing funding around the limits, too.

Well its been awhile since I posted here. Its a shame to see how Faux News is treating the good doctor. I got tired of the Libtard BS on Yahoo and changed my home page to Faux News a few months back. After seeing how they are at it again I made this forum my new home page and will not be watching Faux News with the exception of Beck and maybe Bret to get my weekly fix of Krauthammer :-P. I sure hope someone is planning a BIG moneybomb the day before the first GOP primary debate. We half to come out swinging for the fences right off the bat, none of this "Were pacing ourselves" BS.
