Oh, this is Kasie Hunt's article, the reporter that came to RPF asking for information. See this thread:

I posted a reponse to the article in Kasie's research thread:

... While his ardent supporters aren’t numerous enough to win him actual primaries or caucuses, ...

There was a lot of smoke that Paul actually won Louisiana in 2008. Your statement is present tense and unsupportable unless you have canvassed every State to ensure that he doesn't have the numbers (are you going to write another story apologizing if he runs and does win a State or two [or more]?). Past tense (referring to 2008) would have been more suportable, but even so, not necessarily correct.

Otherwise, I enjoyed your article and thank you for the effort you put into it.

Aside from the obligatory disparaging comments, not a bad article, Kasie. Thanks for being mostly fair.

Now, imagine if the media focused on actual issues and policy positions, instead of name-calling, smearing, belitting, and, to use a Hannity favorite, "besmirching" Ron Paul? Imagine an open conversation on how he continously discusses non-interventionism, instead of purposely and falsely labeling his position as isolationist? Imagine if he wasn't chosen as the only candidate who the media claims is "unelectable", to insert in the minds of Americans that they shouldn't bother to learn more about him? Imagine if the media actually propelled him to the forefront with honest coverage, such as they provide other candidates, or media passes as they provided to Obama and McCain with their love-fest for those candidates in 2008?

Imagine.
