Who gives a damn as long as Ron Paul beats Mitt Romney in the actual straw poll that the media will be reporting on?

They are going to report on the results of the online poll anyway, so might as well win it over getting 2nd.

where do I get the idiot app?

--
folks it is worse than that. Rand's speech from yesterday isn't even on the CPAC web page. Trumps and Rumsfield's award are.

It seems they are going to announce the events at CPAC. Announce. Along with the CPAC straw poll. And Ron Paul would LOSE an online poll? They aren't going to say it isn't because they didn't have android. They will say every person on earth who supports RP was at the convention. Spread this around.

Sailingaway,

on the phone:
click app store, search for CPAC, there is only one option for CPAC 2011, install. Once installed, open it and you will see "strawpolls" on the bottom

it's free

It is the same straw poll as the one physically at CPAC.....lets rule them both cause they might emphasize whichever results fits the results they want the best.

Online, it's here -----------> http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/cpac/id415695965?mt=8

A population educated on the virtues of liberty is far better insurance against tyranny in America than are unending struggles to get one law repealed or one good candidate into office. When truly good candidates arise, we must give them our full and earnest support, but not at the expense of our work toward the greater goal.

is there any way to run the app without the phone from our computer for those of us ordinary cell users?

When you search "CPAC," it comes up just as "CPAC," not "CPAC 2011." The icon though, does say "CPAC 2011."

I just voted, current results:
Ron Paul 24.74%
Mitt Romney 15.46%
Sarah Palin 8.76%
Other 7.22%
Newt Gingrich 6.19%

I'm still getting the idiot app.

I think you guys are a lot more tech savvy than I am, I'm going to be going out to debates I'm judging, and I'm downloading the app on computer. Can I just get them directly on my phone through the itunes store?

if you have an iphone, click on this picture: http://weirandwong.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/app_store.jpg

edit: i see you worked it all out......

voted on the CPAC app for iphone which will also be announced. Ron at 33.18

Rand is also on the ballot, so be careful. Get the CPAC app if you have the iphone. The straw poll icons are at the bottom. They don't give you a second choice, or Rand'd be mine.

I have to go soon, but I should be back to see Ron's speech.

Well, maybe if we win they'll decide not to announce it after all, like they just closed voting at 3 which was supposed to be over at 5. Ron speaks at 3:30.

Shouldn't CPAC Straw Poll voting times/dates be clearly posted, part of the CPAC official agenda, and set in stone?
